Dr. Vaughn's journey in medicine began with the attainment of his medical degree in 2007 from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, Colorado, where he distinguished himself by graduating in the top 3% of his class. His excellence was further recognized with an induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Subsequently, he pursued advanced training by completing a residency in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where he honed his skills working alongside esteemed medical teams in various healthcare institutions in Chicago including the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, Mercy Hospital & Medical Center, University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System, Children’s Memorial Hospital (now Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago), and John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County.
