Ryan Vaughn, MD, is a highly trained and well-respected otolaryngologist at Exhale Sinus, TMJ, Headache & Sleep in Schaumburg, Illinois. He specializes in ear, nose, and throat (ENT) conditions and has a board certification from the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
In 2007, Dr. Vaughn received his medical degree, graduating in the top 3% of his class, at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, Colorado. While there, he was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Vaughn then moved to Chicago to complete a residency in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
During Dr. Vaughn’s residency, he worked alongside some of the best medical teams in Chicago. He spent time at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, Mercy Hospital & Medical Center, the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences System, Children’s Memorial Hospital (now Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago), and John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County, all in Chicago.
Dr. Vaughn is passionate about furthering the education of the next generation of surgeons and physicians. Whenever he can, he gets involved in programs and initiatives to support this interest.
